Since its formation in 1955, the Department of Anaesthesia at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne has excelled in the areas of patient care, teaching and research.
Despite its relatively small size, the members of the Department demonstrate a constant commitment to the Hospital, its patients and to the Anaesthetic Community, nationally and internationally.
Teaching and research have a high priority. We run annual workshops for continuing anaesthetic education and also workshops in regional Anaesthesia. Some of our meeting presentations and videos will be added to the education section.
